In This Cold Bed

In this cold bed

where we slept
I lie my head
on pillows plenty
a few too many
for only me
on which to sleep
without you here
warmth disappears
drying up in tender tears
your words in ears
faint memories of such
days lost to your touch
that exists no more
it left through the door
along with you
evaporating like
vapor off the ocean
into thin air
gone and never back
left with nothing

but your ghost

in this cold bed

      2. Totally bring it. Just leave one finger of mine in good shape for punching out poetry on the keyboard. Okay. Maybe one eye, too. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ˜˜
