    1. I hear you on that! I get that “run away from everything” feeling now and then. You guys keep me going. And thanks so much! That means a lot, Michelle! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œ

      1. You’re welcome! I can relate and I really hope I don’t give in to one of those urges that I get every now and then, to just delete everything and call it quits. Hopefully we can continue to keep everyone going. We can’t give up! πŸ˜‰

  1. The blogosphere will believe in you and many others. This is a place where you are understood and we will see you in ways that people closer won’t. You are appreciated in a unique way. 😊

Oh, whoops! Thought we are writing an erotic piece there for a second! πŸ˜‰πŸ”₯πŸ’

Speaking of which…I think I’m still waiting for your stanza? And thanks, dear…you make this a favorite place for sure!! πŸ’œπŸŒΉπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

  2. I go through this. My two bits; I think writing and sharing flexes a lot of vulnerability and vulnerability is hard and can be exhausting. I think every so often we want to run/disappear/hide because our mind and heart is just reminding us it is hard. Having said that, it is what makes you and your writing great and THAT is something you should never change for anything or anyone.

    1. Very well put, Alisa. I live vulnerability to the max, and wouldn’t have it any other way, but yes…sometimes hiding calls. 😊 And, thanks so much for your support! You are awesome. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œ

  3. I totally understand the need to inhale. The NRE settles into a lovely rhythm after a while, sweet Em. Break when you need to darling and write when the words will have it no other way. We are always here to drink from the Emily Well of Wisdom and Wit.

    1. Aw, you know what NRE is! I love that you know that.😊 Yes, it seems to have a mind of its own. I will take your advice. And thank you, so sweet to say! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œ

      1. We love you, Em. You literally are a Star Woman to me – you came blazing into my atmosphere and continue to shine so bright. (I’m a pretty cool old gal btw – I know lots of things lol).

I just don’t want you to burn out and we loose your bright light.

    1. Means a ton coming from you, Finnegan. Truly. I value your opinion greatly. 😊 Honestly…I don’t think I have any say in the matter…it’s like I let the floodgates open after decades of ignoring the fact that writing may be my calling after all… We shall see where it takes me! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜˜

      1. Thanks, F! I appreciate the support. I hope I can, as well… Poetry is, perhaps as well as being in own valid expression, a gateway to novel writing at some point, I just don’t even know where to start with that, which is why I guess the travel/photojournalism side appeals to me… And then I remember how old I am and wonder if it’s even possible to pursue at this time in my life. I suppose people do it all the time, though, I just have no true mentors to show me how. And I agree…pacing life itself is a challenge! πŸ˜‰πŸ™πŸΌ

    1. This is truth, Pranab,
      of which you speak,
      taking breaks
      is good for peak
      performance,
      just as any sport
      any athlete
      of physical kind
      the mental kind
      could use a breath
      periodically, you see
      I guess my mind
      justifies sleep
      as its break…alas
      its always thinking
      day or night. πŸ™‚
