Déjà Vu

Here I am again.
It is today…or is it?
It may be yesterday,
Or even tomorrow, too.
Going through the motions,
Or are they going through me?
Sense of time distorted,
Compass with no north.
Different day, same story,
Shades of gray consume.
All moods become one mood,
Leaving me left to brood.
Bring me back the joy of you,
Your spectra of moods,
So I can feel again,
So I can know again,
Your warming love,
Your gentle way of being,
To melt my heart a puddle,
To light my soul afire.
Pull me up from the abyss,
Peel off my layers of sorrow,
Carry me away to tomorrow

Away from this déjà vu…

      1. It occurred to me that very rare do I tell someone what I like about it – but everything you write is priceless. Everything you write is very well crafted, word by word, line by line.
