Fault Lines

give me your two sides…
dark/light split face,
alternates.

hidden heart
— show me it from our start,
broken parts I will take as mine
to mend with fractured kisses
placed along your fault lines:
bridging jagged gaps,
love-cracked.

us together
as continents long lost

  1. How deep and how truthful cause when were sharing hearts with one another we must be able to know everything about one another and hide nothing

(Very off topic i’m working on a “Poetic Album” and it might come out later on this week even i’m kind of trying to push for it to be today)

  2. Good morning, Em. Seems we had a similar muse visit us today; I woke up too damn early (insomnia now flipped on its head for me), from a dream with a thought: “two doors are open: we face a choice between darkness and light.”

Your poem is very beautiful and healing. I like it.

  3. Oh Em!! Really loved this! I do love the way You write poems!! Love the idea of fault lines and these lines – “fractured kisses
    placed along your fault lines:
    and
    “drawing
    us together
    as continents long lost”

Your work and words are always so elegant yet simple and always touch my heart!

It was so good to see You come visit my words! Please come again!!!!
