Photon

Awoke this morning
wishing I was your sun,
rising over your face,
rays caressing your skin

To be one single photon,
unrivaled happiness
encountering your flesh,
absorbed in warm bliss

How lucky that light
to enter your eyes
grace you with vision
color your world bright

To be the reason
you open your eyes,
take a deep breath
and let out a sigh,

I would travel time
from my star afar
dimensions irrelevent,
through your window
I would fly

Corrosion

Corrode my soul, eat it alive
reroute my arteries to the outside
skin me from my muscles clean
paint over in black my spirit’s sheen

Your poison festers with rancidity
flesh-eating virus you are indeed
take all I have and that’s not enough
my mind is blank, my love is cuffed

You slithered your way in, vile designs
nothing but your own desires in mind
lying my bare being on sacrificial stone
you feast on me whole, bury me alive

I see piles of bones of those before me
stacked in careless heaps of warning
I should have seen them on my way
when you lured me to your demon den

Now all I have is an empty shell
where once my colors radiated well
there you go…my blood dripping from chin

you burp up my heart

…and start over again

Island of One

Island of one
in a world of man
absent of all
nothing to land
my boat on
that travels from
far away times
searching for you
for solid ground
to settle my feet
in the sand of your heart
lie in the heat
of the sun of your soul
peel off my clothes
bury my mind
in your warm naked skin
that holds all of mine
with caresses of senses
that tickle my veins
sending shocks to my heart
leaving scars to say
that you’ve been here before
many times with your lore
of love that burns
all of my core
to smoldering ashes of lust
an ember sparked
sending fire back
to the start
where I launched this boat
searching for you
the island of one

to make it

island of two

“Island of One” ~ Audio

Tomorrow-less

night is drifting darkness

world around in listlessness

souls stirring from paralysis

bodies melting in catharsis

time deluding senselessness

universe expanding limitless

minuscule moments meaningless

having you with me, fearless

speak to me in kisses

lips on lips in missives

lavish me with caresses

spell my name with roses

stare me into weakness

call me things of sweetness

pin me down near helpless

willingly your muse selfless

wrestle me until motionless

suck my skin into redness

thrust your sin into wetness

take me deep into my vastness

lust after my core relentless

swell my portal on your hardness

make me yours in timelessness

fuck me like we’re tomorrow-less

take me to the brink of oneness

let me cum with freeing wildness

taking in your cum with wholeness

together we collapse in blissfulness

your scent I’ll carry, our completeness

your heart I’ll hold in foreverness

universe expands limitless

turning today into tomorrow futureless

at the whim of fancy, we’re powerless

we will love each other,

endless

Magic Carpet

Magic carpet
carry me
to a land I don’t know
to one I can’t see
where nights are sweet
with spice-filled air
intricate tapestry
my only windows
billowing at sunset
over sandy dunes

rolling
over horizon’s mirage
of mysterious love
waiting
for my camel to arrive
ride me torchlit to you

I will wear your words
as my jewels

your kisses
as my lipstick

your promise
as my destiny

your love
as my robe

you
as my
treasure

You Are, I Am

(photo credit: Emily C., Carkeek Beach, Seattle, 6.20.16)

If you are the sun, I am the open leaf
If you are the open leaf, I am the raindrop
If you are the raindrop, I am dry soil
If you are dry soil, I am the stubborn daisy
If you are the daisy, I am the field

If you are the moon, I am the telescope
If you are the telescope, I am your galaxy
If you are the galaxy, I am the satellite
If you are the satellite, I am ground control
If you are ground control, I am the astronaut

If you are the wind, I am the windmill
If you are the windmill, I am the farm
If you are the farm, I am the farmer
If you are the farmer, I am your crop
If you are the crop, I am your scarecrow

If you are the ocean wave, I am your beach
If you are the beach, I am toes in your sand
If you are the sand, I am the sand castle
If you are the sand castle, I am the moat
If you are the moat, I am the drawbridge

If you are the fire’s ember, I am the oxygen
If you are the oxygen, I am the match
If you are the match, I am your kindling
If you are the kindling, I am your hearth
If you are the hearth, I am a thawing heart
